Introducing myself and my ongoing split personality. These are my different selves, not just an excuse to make outfit changes!

  • Do you think teachers in general should make use of social media to show their pupils that there is more to them than just the authority person in school. I'm just wondering because I would definitely work harder in class if you were my teacher.

  • @Zeroviron No, I don't. I'm actually hiding this from mine. (Well aware that eventually, they'll find out.) But none of my pupils currently knows I'm doing this and I would like to keep it like that. Now whilst I wouldn't really mind them finding out, because I am proud of what I do and I don't think I'm compromising myself, I think the person I am in school should be enough. They need a good teacher, not a good youtuber. But, you know... chances are the secret will be out one day.

  • "Fight apathy or don't" That alone is enough for me to subscribe to you.

  • @TheNevs89 Aw, I love people who share my taste in humour!

  • wait, not 10 to 19 right? Isn't gymnasium from 16 to 19? At least it is in Sweden (where I come from)

  • @WithMusicInMind Nope. In Germany, it's 10/11 to 18/19. We have a really selective school system here. Select early. Not sure if that's so good...

  • Hi, Astrid. Your videos are definitely not banaaaaal I'm a professor at a university and I use Perfectionist for teaching Ancient Greek and Creative for teaching giant classes of Roman History. Don't let anyone keep Creative away from the classroom! (BTW I'll have to try the pom-poms). The Tardis episode is a classic.

  • Hello Astrid, It is nice to meet you, I would say you are not boring.

    James.

  • Amazing garden, cant wait for spring to see more of it! MOAR!!!

  • As someone who works in the motion picture industry... I can tell you we always say that 'paint covers a multitude of sins...'

Also, 'you can't see it from my house'

  • You really are funny! your English is fine, I am laughing with you, not at you :o)

And you are so right about having different sides for work, friends, family etc, I get really uncomfortable if they ever mix - unsure how to act. Anyhow, I am really enjoying your videos. thanks!

  • Yeah - I subbed.

I miss Europe, I miss smart funny people. You're from Europe, you're smart and funny.

  • For the perfectionist: you said 'stragedy' in 03:20 ;P

    I like you anyway!

  • As some one married to a Teacher, subscribed and love!

  • Hi Astrid!

I'm older than you...so I can say "you" to you ... *bangingheadontable* ... *doingitagain* ... however...first, I just found your vlog via Google+...and I'm very happy about that! Your way of making your videos is lovely, the idea of multiple personalities is awesome - and (after having left school for more than 20 years now) it's great to hear this beautiful "Uxfurd Inglish"again!

What shall I say...where Tim had "had", Don had "had had"..."had had" had the teachers okay...:-).!

  • the fact you have a lovelier English speaking accent than my own nasal Northern English accent is annoying, but I think I fell a little bit in love with you when you said "stradergy" :)
