"Assorted artists" gameplay video - a game mod by Andrew McCully

Cryart is a mod I have been developing with Cryengine2 for my BFA Hons year at Elam School of Fine Arts in Auckland, New Zealand.

I have appropriated a series of canonised art works and reconstructed them in game space, either submitting the game to the logic of the artwork or reconstructing the work with the rules of the game.

This video is of the last section of the game in which I have combined a number of different artists in one space. They include Gordon Matta-Clark, Billy Apple, Meg Cranston, Martin Creed, Alex Monteith, Dan Flavin, Damien Hirst, Sean Kerr, et. al., Andy Warhol, Seth Price, Michael Parekowhai, Roman Signer, Peter Robinson, Richard Serra and Hans Haacke.
