It's an education project, not a laptop project. Inexpensive, durable, networked laptops are important to better education everywhere in the world, empowering children and communities, and sharing access to modern skills with every child on the planet.

If I want these laptops for the poor children in my country would you supply them at a low/subsidized cost??

@Russenboss lol, I'm with you there, you should still be able to choose your religion or have no religion at all.. That's me haha, I honestly don't think there is a greater power.. I dunno that's just my opinion haha

For the Internet connection, how about using the TV Spectrum, the same stuff Google is talking about using in the USA on the 700mhz spectrum. Use that to routers that then forward a WiFi mesh signal.

That's an interesting idea. Also ground-based radio, if you don't need such high bandwidth.
