This is four days after getting my Multi-stage starter kit in the mail. I think I've followed the instructions pretty well this time. My larvae seemed very sluggish after they arrived. I think it was dehydration, because they perked right up after I added some water to the pod. Only a cup or two. The coconut coir in there was bone-dry and the food scraps weren't helping the humidity very much. At first I thought it was the temperature, but bringing the pod into the warm garage didn't help at all. After I saw them crowding around and digging into the drain (there was a little water in there) I was pretty sure they were just thirsty. Being stuck in a bag full of sawdust for a few days will do that. I hope you get my joke at the end.
