Well I haven't ever seen a dwarf army come out on top at a tournament. If you just want to win tournaments you should play Undead or Chaos IMO.

Orcs and Goblins are good, just get some of their artillary pieces and some Black Orcs and you're pretty much golden.

Dude, you still can start playing, I just started half a year ago when I was 17. So, that's no problem at all. Get an army, get the rulebook, get someone to play with and all is fine^^

i dont know if i should do wood elves or high elves. All the high elves look pretty weak with toughness 3, at least the woodeleves have dryads and tree kin, do you have any recommendations ?

i dont care as much about placing as much as i want to be able to contend. from what i hear, those cannons and warriors lead by thanes with oath stones are top choices. i dont mind losing, but i am only gonna ever have one army untill my 40k stuff is done, and the fact that im getting the skull pass dwarves, about 500 points of dwarfs i hear, i just want to know the best stuff i could get into a standard tourney army, 2000pts is tourney, right.
