I LOVE SEATTLE!

I consider myself lucky to have the privelage to fly out of SeaTac. With Lufthansa and Hainan joining Seattle, we're becoming a cool airport.

good explanation of SEATTLE

Certainly a classic n-s Sea-Tac landing..Most don't realize that in good weather the approach is the oppositie, s-n, and less impresssive. But this approach is spectacular under certain conditions, especially if you are on the left side of the plane and get the best vews of the city and the the lake, and the Cascades. Tought to beat for great approaches!

I love it! thank you! Im flying into SEA-TAC from ONT tomorrow morning! Im gunna watch for some of the stuff in this video! Im excited =D

Good job on the tags!! I haven't watched this since you added those! It's also interesting, just before the plane lands and crosses 518 there is absolutely no light-rail track or station built yet at the Tukwila 'Park & Ride" lot.

Simple as excellent.
Good wok with the tags, it makes it distinctive from any other "in flight video".
Been there a long time ago, and it´s been very illustrative.
Regards.
I'm a Brit but love Seattle - it's my wife's hometown. I'm flying in on July 9th (3rd visit) for the summer and can't wait. Nice vid dude, esp like the ID tags on the descent...helps a newbie like me!

glad you liked the tags - it was fun to do them. I could have almost noted the Boeing Everett plant (20 miles north of Seattle) where the 747, 767, 777 and 787 are assembled and then I would have captured all three major Boeing facilities in the Seattle area in one video (Boeing Field and Renton (737's) are the other two.)

This was an MD-80 wasn't it?

I don't remember. Back when I shot this AS was flying a mix of of MDs and 737s. Now I believe Reno only gets Horizon planes.
