@AuthenticGirl87 Who knows? Maybe she was talking about Jesus; like, any song dedicated to Him is "His," technically, and so perhaps that's how she's assigning it in her head. After all, He did die...sort of... <_<

@Godswill. The reason people say that it isn't Mark Schultz is because it is likely isn't him. It was taken from a vocal track for singing in church. The reason I use mark Schultz is name is because that is who sings the song. And the only reason it songs like "brighter morning star" is probably because if poor annunciation.

@GodsWill777777 It actually is Bright and Morning Star. I've listened to several versions and that is what it is as well as looked up lyrics. Revelation 22:16 also says “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
