  • Sounds great in stereo. I had the old vinyl stereo LP years ago but the CD release was inexplicibly mono - uhhh! Karaoke version is interesting too Thanks for posting

  • correct me if im wrong here.. but the cover says "plus three more great new songs written by Brian Wilson", but the other three tracks are "In The Back Of My Mind", "Bull Sessions" (not a great song, not even a song), and "I'm So Young" (not written by Brian). right?

  • I can finally hear those saxophones!

  • Your wrong about that. I bought a copy of the original Pet Sounds vinyl LP when it first came out in the early 60's . It was true stereo - at least the UK release was. The stereo version was exactly the same as the stereo version on the PetSounds Audio DVD released a few years ago which I also have.

  • @PeterWTaylor pet sounds was never true stereo it was "duophonic " rechanneled stereo [ really mono with one speaker more treble the other more bass] I almost bought a stereo rechaneling box in an electronics store

  • Super janglesome!

  • YEAH! ! !

  • Doesn't matter to me whether it was called duophonic or whatever. The point is the stereo LP sounded good to me, and the mono CD release didn't. They did exactly the same thing with the first CD release of Pet Sounds, and produced a sub-standard product - in my opinion that is.

  • the picture of them on the cover was taken with them sitting on a diving board

  • IF YOU LISTEN TO THE BACKGROUND TRACK IT SOUNDS LIKE IT MUST HAVE BEEN AN INFLUENCE ON DAY TRIPPER BY THE BEATLES
