Salman Rushdie is a "brilliant" Jane Austen read

"Sir???" Salman Rushdie is excruciating. to watch and listen to if you are in any way shape or form what might call "Euro sensible". He mainly is always trying to level the playing field between Western ideals and cultural realities to those of his native India. As such he is not only disingenuous in most of what he says, he is in fact completely inane to an intelligent observer. And yet, he receives so much tolerance for this (albeit superficial in fact) that one is left to wonder as to the sanity of all those involved in the circus ring. I kid you not!
