  • FF is my religion.

  • Who gives a shit?

I've been to two of these FF concerts and they were one of the best concerts I have ever been to in my life. It was amazing.

  • I Wonder what someone like Kitaro would do for Final Fantasy.... I Love Music n' Love Final Fantasy, Hope they keep this style of music throughout their games

  • Japanese are really good emulators of other cultures.

  • @HunterGuy2 That said, many classically trained Japanese singers CAN do western-style vibrato. The aforementioned Haruno Sumire is a good example...

  • @HunterGuy2 There's a difference between vibrato and shakiness. And yes, I know Asian singers don't always do it the way westerners do. But I'd look at Gackt or TM Revolution's "machine-gun vibrato" as a good example of asian-style vibrato. This is...shakiness... warbling... something that is definitely not controlled vibrato...

  • @DarkCyradis Are you aware that the "shakiness of the notes" is called Vibrato and is actually rather difficult to do? Pretty much all good vocalists do it, but what you're probably picking out is the fact that Asian singers tend to exaggerate it a lot.

  • @DarkCyradis This is me on the outside looking in, but she sounds sick to me durring this. I could be wrong of course.

  • @DarkCyradis "El gusto se rompe en generos" That means some people like things that someone else might not...

  • Masuda-san is a lovely woman but her singing is terrible. I'm not taking her accent into account at all--just the shakiness of the notes and the thin, nasally quality of her voice. There are so many phenomenal Japanese singers out there--why not someone like Haruno Sumire or someone?
