Controversial, intense scene from the 1940 film, "Strange Cargo", starring Clark Gable and Joan Crawford. This scene is one of the more powerful and, from around the 25 films I've seen of Gable's, one of the finer examples of his skills as an actor. The actor in the water is Ian Hunter.
for me this is one of the best film ever made, it is that realization that there is god in very thing we see and when Clark Gable recognized that the man him self came down and show that the essence of life is in all of, we just need to look at our self once a wile to see it

This is one of my all-time favorite films -- thank-you so very much for posting this scene. Everyone in the cast -- especially Gable and Crawford -- give stunning performances. Bravo to you!

I think this is one of Gable's best movies. So touching! It is wonderful to see how God reached out to people in the film.
