No climatologist has ever said the gulf stream conveyor belt (MOC) has stopped in thousands of years. The earth, on average, is warming. That is a statistical fact. Limbaugh just pulls misinformation out of his ass and asserts it as fact. It's a shame anyone takes this clown seriously.

Hey, Rush, the reason New York city was hit by such a bad blizzard is because the air at the Arctic Circle was unusually warm that year, and pushed all the cold air in Canada south. That's why the east coast got hit with blizzard conditions, because the weather that's supposed to be up in Canada got pushed down to us, because the air at the North Pole was much warmer than it should be. That's how global warming can cause severe snowstorms. Only fools like you think it only means hotter weather.

I would like to know if anyone has tried to confirm or challenge Charles David Keeling's data on carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere. From what I have read he made several assumptions on the distribution of carbon dioxide in the environment. Food for thought. I would rather not put stock into a theory that may prove true one decade and wrong the next simply because we don't fully understand the world in which we live. It may cost us our freedom.

And regarding your "No, my friend, the only one we can trust is ourselves in this world", just how the hell does that apply to science? You only trust yourself when it comes to science? That's absurd.
