I keep getting an error message as well when trying to downgrade. I go to restore it and then it starts to load and when its done it says ERROR

@SkullKingPro u need to save your shsh u dumass lol download tinyumbrella and save them and then downgrade. u have this because u didnt click the thing on cydia.

I tried to downgrade my iphone 3g from 4.2.1 to 3.1.3 but every single time it says error 1015 i tried everything even ireb but they won't work! Do you have to have it jailbroken?
