not replying to any specific comments cause they're all months/years old but michael 'cali' dewitt chose chokebore to open for nirvana on the in utero tour in 1993. kurt liked them and said he wanted nirvana's next album to sound like them. he also said he was going to get an amrep tattoo. this is all in everett true's book on nirvana, which really should be th final word so far as nirvana books go.

@cptOrgazmo Hmm... Chokebore's first release came out approximately at the same time Nirvana's last release came out, so if they have indeed inspired his writing, it's very likely we have actually never heard those songs... :/

I found out about this band about 4/5 years ago from watching some nirvana bootleg where chokebore supported them and i aint looked back since i love this band!
