Dirt Road & Barn - Winsor & Newton Water Mixable Oil Colours - Gary Garrett oil painting demo

Click on "WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY" - 8x10 canvas panel painted August 15, 2008 in the studio. I was trying to use 3 colors: white, prussian blue and burnt sienna, but just needed a bit of thalo green to get my distant tree colors the way I wanted them. undercoated with Bob Ross Liquid White. Made this one up as I went, but personnally, I see elements of my last several paintings in it... but no reference photos on this one.

\Hi.... I am using two mediums now: (1) GALKYD LITE made by Gamblin, and (2) Winsor & Newton's DRYING LINSEED OIL mixed 50/50 with WALNUT OIL. Both of these medium dry fairly quickly, with less yellowing over time.

\With the water-mixable oils, I used W&N's water mixable linseed oil, but it dries VERY slowly.
