Lord Professor Robert Winston discusses his thoughts behind his recently published book Bad Ideas where he presents the good, the bad and the ugly sides of science & Technology.

He also suggests that there is a third element to the nature vs. Nurture argument and that is development which incorporates Epigenetics. When questioned where epigenetics fits into Neuroscience, Robert states that this really is an area that should be researched for better nurturing of younger children.

He acknowledges that scientists are not always objective so we should understand that we can not necessarily predict where were going but try to anticipate some of the possible bad effects of science.
