  • Which song are you playing? I try to remember, but I'm totally blank :/

  • Pendulum - Fasten Your Seatbelt

  • Dam it, I really need to get serato. I want these features bad, but i'm afraid it'll cause me to stop digging and collecting records and eventually use vinyl for scratching only. I'll probably end up getting it anyways.

It's a good vid, post more like it with more of the other serato features if you can.

  • If it's the digging you love then you won't stop! Serato is a tool and there is nothing wrong with using it. For 2 days after I got it sat looking at my record collection feeling sic then I got used to having serato and I've never looked back.

I will be posting more serato videos, I don't know if you read the website though but if you don't check it out because all these videos are explained in more detail there ;-)

  • ever tried traktor? it KILLS Serato! just sayin

  • very nicely done, so proper!

  • Vinyl has a much richer sound cos it contains frequencies that are lost through digital. Once you convert your vinyl, you will lose those frequencies and hence, lose that rich sound.

  • i can't scratch as well on serato. That lag time kills me.

  • Hey man, good work. Really diggin this.

  • until you open the package and discover they're all warped :(

  • i hope it never dies! but i wish they would invent some crazy lightweight version, then i wouldnt mind lugging the crates,,haha

of course you can beat the sound quality of vinyl either. but for convenience, serato has me hooked!

  • VINYL WILL NEVER DIE!

its just that the link between using analogue and digital will continually improve. digital music and all what goes with it is killing all the music industry in a big way. and at the moment there is no way of having actual "full" analogue sound on digital. listening to digital is like listening to a big dot2dot.

besides nothing beats the feeling of getting a few new records delivered by the postman.

  • i see your point.

ive been stuck in china now for about 4 years, and vinyl was never easy to get here, so serato sort of saved me! and i dont even pull out my battle records to practice these days. i just do everything on serato! as its what i use in the clubs every week, so i wanna be as familiar as possible with the feel of it... cant remember the last time i bought a vinyl,, and ive been collecting it for over 10 years
