@GaryOuellet I was a bit miffed when I typed it,There are some who think all secrets should be guarded like gold,I don't reveal my secrets,However I will readily teach a child who asks me "can I learn something cool".

@MonTag666 Yes, it's the magician's work to put his own twist on the effect he presents, and this code doesn't prohibe the sharing of secrets between magicians and those interested in magic, but this sharing has to be done inside magic clubs etc ... The only thing that this code outlaws is the exposure to the lay-audience in any form. Youtube is one of them. Those interested will be intelligent enough to go to a shop or have a look in the yellow pages to find the nearest magic club.

People need to stop with the magicians code bullshit,Magic is not the art of hoarding secrets like a selfish child,It's about sharing a unique gift and entertaining people,If no on ever gave the secrets away magic would have died on day one.
The real mark of a magician it putting your own twist on said trick to fool those who think they have it all figured out.

Why does everyone hate on this video, trickster ap has a tutorial of this too yet he remains a respectable magician. He doesn't even mention that it's Dai Vernon's, although that's probably because he didn't even know, and everyone spares him.
I don't get it.

Respond to this video... and no its not the original

@magicmaniamia 15 starting in magic i get that if you reveal the tricks there not tricks but the only people that find these videos are magicians so its still kept some what of a secret

had a little play about. Maybe soon, I might upload an imoroved version of this method. I mean, I really like this method, but there are some technical flaws in it.

But yes, I agree with some things. The performance was a little fast, which it doesn't need to be for such a pure effect. And also, posting secrets on youtube isn't the most noble of directions ;)

Very nice. I use the traditional way of doing Triumph. In fact it is my "Save my life" trick. This seems more suitable for standing perfomances than the other method does, so may be worth using. :) Oh, and would all you people stop slating this? Just because it isn't the origional method, doesn't mean it's not the same trick. I often do an ACAAN routine, but just because I don't use the same method as David Berglas, doesn't mean it's not right. It's GOOD that he puts his own slant on the effect.
