Thompson is the only real candidate who says what he says and stands by it. Like it or not. Unlike the democrats who pander to every group and tell that particular group what they want to hear. At least you know where you stand with Thompson. A straight shooter. We need a real leader in this country. This is the guy.

When Alexander dropped out of the presidential race, Thompson endorsed Senator John McCain's bid and became his national co-chairman.[48] Both McCain and Thompson were contenders to be George W. Bush's running mate in 2000.[49][50]

What lies? You liberals always think that because no big WMD's were found, that there weren't any. They had plenty of time to get them out. By the way, we did find one big WMD. He was cowering in a hole in the ground and now is dead. Good riddance to Saddam.
