YU55 could never have hit the moon.
But of course you had too look sideways to notice that. It never crossed the moons orbit.

where do i get that tracking system so cool

Why do we even watch videos made by some kid who knows nothing about astronomy ? I bet this is some horny teenager, who probably masturbated to lesbian porn after making this video. Sorry kid, but nasa doesn't know everything, and certainly nobody for for tell if this asteroid will change course.

@danktrain420 You are right on the money! The trajectory is closer to the moon than earth. This thing is about the size of an aircraft carrier. It is not an extinction event if it hits earth. The moon is like swiss cheese. It's been hit before and will get hit again. If it hits the moon it might shake it a bit causing a change in tides but it would be harmless to us. The moon might turn a different color due to the impact dust and that dust would float for a long time in near zero gravity.

That trajectory is only if the Earth's gravity doesn't affect the asteroids trajectory. If the Earth's gravity does in fact play a part, I could see a chance of it hitting the moon.
If it does hit the moon, it will be like everything else that has hit the moon, it will leave a crater. The event would be a spectacular sight for us, nothing more, so stop the doomsday nonsense people. Even if it hit Earth life would go on, yes a great catastrophe, but no apocalypse.
