Dalmatian facts:
1) Dalmatians are the only spotted breed.
2) Dalmatian puppies are born without their spots.
3) Dalmatians have an affinity for horses, and without any training have been known to guide and ""fall into line"" with horses as they are pulling coaches.
4) Dalmatians are thought to have originated in Dalmatia which is an area of Croatia in the 17th-18th Century.
5) The breed has a predisposition towards deafness.

When I start my own family, I want to get a dalmatian. They're a beautiful breed. I am Dalmatian, as my family is from the region where they come from in Croatia, Dalmatia, and I've wanted one ever since I was a child :D

We had a Dalmation that lived to be 18. He was stubborn and mule headed but loveable as could be. These dogs really do have their own personaltiy and are a loving handful.

Wow fast energenic dogs. Dalmations are iffy to have,unless your rich.There health is a issue. The lil one didn't seem to like the high water. Saw a puppy to puppy kiss :-p
