I didn't record the video, but for the sound, I run my PS2 into my audio receiver. Then I take a cord to go from the receiver's headphone jack into my computer's microphone jack, then I record it using Audacity.

Sorry, I was having a borderline mood swing at the time. But no, I used a direct Audio-Out recording from the game. I assure you there is next to no dip in quality here, I made sure of it because I wanted this music for my iPod. Watch the video in 480p, it improves audio quality.

No, I got it off the official CD that electronic arts put out, you know, because it knows Sims fan would enjoy to hear the music. Get it yourself then, audiophile jerklord, but for your information the track in the game sounds no different.
