Tomorrow (June 14) EMI is releasing the original Sunshine Superman album in stereo mix for the first time ever. Only the title track and "Season of the Witch" were ever released in stereo on Donovan's Greatest Hits in 1969.
This should be quite a milestone in music history. S.S. is in the same class as Revolver, Pet Sounds and Odessey. Hopefully, they'll do the same for Mellow Yellow in the near future.

i clicked at least half a dozen videos and finally found this one. you're right that YT is great not only for advertising music. It's like a library for songs or citizen's TV
The GEMA is a german government agency who demands fees for (themselfes and) the artists they represent. they demand 12 ct per view from YT for some songs. So YT denies access to some clips for germans, which is understandable - feels like censorship.

@beliebigerusername I'm sorry to hear that. I can understand the copyright claims but that's going a bit too far...
Also i'm not german so I don't have that problem but it is true that I can't watch some videos just because of my country of residence, and that's quite annoying sometimes...

@beliebigerusername I have multiple videos which contain copyrighted songs yet I hadn't had any problem with it (for now)...
I don't know why some videos are taken down because copyright and some aren't but I agree that we should be free to post them without having some corporation claim them. I think youtube serves as a great advertising media for...pretty much everything... Also some claims just don't make sense, like that 4'33" video, how can you copyright silence ? tl;dr and shit
