It's a TowerPro 2409-12T brushless outrunner I got from heads up RC

    25A Electrifly ESC

    2200 30C 3S lipo

APC 7x5 prop that I cut down to 6.5" (to fit the fuselage)

Replaced the rudder with a larger one. The stock rudder is too small.

    My build video is at:

I have since upgrade to a Futaba 10C and mapped the panning servo to a slide switch on the left by the throttle stick.

  • stock brushed motor? Are you still using the rudder channel

    It's a GoPro HD HERO shooting "R3" mode. 1280x720 @ 60 FPS

  • Is that the gopro hero, hero2 or 960, I think I need this set-up

It's a little home-made custom hacked mount I did out of wood and epoxy.

    Check out:

    vimeo -dot- com -slash- 23560022

And I added a servo extender to increase the panning angle and slow down the slew rate

  • awesome, how does the panning work?
