I have to say watching this video convinced me. I like Black Sabbath better than Led Zeppelin. Tony Iommi is an underrated guitarist. He is the greatest guitarist in metal history. The inventor of the sound. Leslie Wests contribution to metal should never be forgotten either..
If watchin' these 4 guys at 4 in the morn doesn't get ya feelin' good and ready to start your day, well, nuthin' will. Yep! I am so diggin' it and I'm glad that you shared. Thanx ;)
@Ciphrus Well it's not as much about hitting high notes as it is writing songs you can actually sing and perform well live, with a focus on the performance. Here he is hitting the notes, but he can't hold it and he's off-key a lot of the time. Still, it's rock'n'roll and doesn't need to be perfect :)
Still over the years his fate has been interwined with this band mostly for sentimenhtal reasons, could it be the raw NRG he delivers to his fans on stage or his ability to 'feel the music.
But to me he most certainly is a means to make money for the woman who pulls the strings benind, thankfully it was her greedy impulse that prompted him to join Sabbath again, talkin 'bout his wife and manager fc.The innovative mind & soul of B.S. is solely T Iommy who has probably faced probs with Ozzy
Ozzy amounts to nothing much ( of a singer that is), I would stretch it out to -- as a frontman as well but I dunno really ( missed the onhly chanhce to see 'em Live due to army oblibgations) still he is doin pretty much the same stuff over on stage again & again. But what I cant shake from my memory is him being interviewed by B Dickinson on Radio, oh boy , it was like listening to a retarded child with way serious speech problems tryin to get words across in a haze of confusion.

dont' know why people regard at Ozzy as a great performer but just an average singer..
They are probably people that don't deal with music, because very very few singers are able to hit these notes for almost 5 funking minutes!
