Political Party from directly using foreign media or propaganda to influence Canadian voters, due to the fact Canada is arguably the most multicultural country in the world and proud of, where Foreign influence can make a difference here in Canada. This legislation is redundant ,powerless and arbitrary. -Gregory, University of Ottawa Student

unaffiliated with these people and have no sovereignty over their actions. More importantly, Canadian Laws only applies to Canadian Citizens, which this legislation is clearly addressing non-Canadians, people outside of Canadian jurisdiction of law.
If Canada which is so dedicated to Democracy which a French Canadian Charles Bouchard is currently leading the NATO efforts in Libya, why does it matter what Foreigners think and say on YouTube. What this legislation should address is any Canadian

Firstly I like to say thank you to our Aussie friends for paying attention to Canadian Politics, because apparently we have an Inferiority Complex ( JK Canadians love our American brothers). Secondly most of these people just said best of luck to Elizabeth May or Go Greens which is hardly "inducing" voters, and elections Canada cannot verify if these people are possibly dual Canadian/Australian citizens or permanent residences. Non-interference by Foreigners
Prohibition — inducements by non-residents
331. No person who does not reside in Canada shall, during an election period, in any way induce electors to vote or refrain from voting or vote or refrain from voting for a particular candidate unless the person is
(a) a Canadian citizen; or
(b) a permanent resident within the meaning of subsection 2(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
2000, c. 9, s. 331; 2001, c. 27, s. 211.

Friends, unfortunately, Election law in Canada prohibits foreigners from sending messages like these to the Canadian electorate. The Green Party of Canada may be held accountable for this. A similar issue occurred when Michael Moore was in Canada during a previous election, and he urged us to not elect "our own George W Bush." The Tories promptly sought recourse through a federal court.

Great video! Glad to see we are not alone
Unfortunately, this video has been removed due to violations of the Canada elections act.
I believe the Canada elections act violates the principles of free speech, which are particularly important during an election. Given the globalized nature of our world and the issues we now face (eg climate change), non-Canadians clearly have an interest in what happens in Canada.
Regardless, the global movement toward social and environmental justice marches on.
