This clip is taken during a roundtable discussion, organised by Sony Europe in London for a few pan-European design influencers on Friday 21 May. The event was hosted by Penny Sparke (Professor of Design History, Kingston University) and was attended by Takuya Kawagoi (Director of Sony Design Centre Europe), Kate Burnett (Editor, IDFX), Julia Edin (Editor, PlayMeDesign), Mark Westall (Editor, Despoke), Andrea Chin (Editor, Design Boom) and Daniel Ortiz (Editor, Sencha Design).

Topics covered during the day include: How technology in the home has changed over the past 50 years; The function of the TV, both in the past as well as in the future; The function of the living room and how the use of that space has changed over time; What the ideal living room looks like; What the future TV will look like.

The clips we have uploaded for you to enjoy are snippets of the conversations from the day. We hope you enjoy these as much as our panelists and we did!
