How to play a version of this great Stephen Stills song. This is part 1. Tuning = E-E-E-E-B-E.

If you should buy my archives. This video appears on disk 1 as a wmv file and will play using windows media player. I did this to retain the highest quality.

  • That Takamine you play has a nice tone to it. Great lesson. Cheers!

  • Its obvious you have a lot of passion for the music. That's what's missing from so much music today.

  • I love that tuning.I never would have thought to try it ,it looks so odd. As Always thanks for help One of these days I hope you decide to drop the veil of anonymity. One of the reasons besides being immensely curious is I used to follow a fellow here on You tube called Fretkiller who was wonderful. They pulled his videos and that's it hes nothing but a distant memory. I am sure you have your reasons,my bet is your donations would go way up with a face and a name not to mention when you gig..

  • @panakoo So predictably unfunny. YAWN (anagram)

  • Except for the accent you could BE stephen stills. the only diff between your version and his original is that he bends the beejeebus out of some of those notes, getting 32nd notes sometimes. yours is a Great vid, now I can add this to my repertoire! I do some lessons to if youre looking to expand, although mine are not as well produced as yours.

  • U k...Kay

  • Nice instructions..Thx for posting!

  • One of the best instructional videos that I have come across. Any chance that you can slow the finger-picking down some more, with maybe a description of the picking, finger and string sequence? It may be simple to those who have been doing it for years, but for us newbies, it is difficult. Looks like maybe it is a Travis pick, which I am attempting to learn. Thanks for the terrific video.

  • he's a scouser.............is anybody missing a guitar

  • Bloody good that! But I must ask which Martin you are playing ? I was actually out listening to clips of Martins and found your vid and stopped 'cause I love this tune. I will be back to learn more from you. Cheers.
