8 Month Bboy. Just some freezes I've been practicing. I also been working on airchair and headstand to airchair but there was way more practice this day and by the end of it I couldn't hold any sidechairs and airchairs because my wrists hurt to much. The videos at the end are my sidechair and handstand personal records, with my ugly ass handstand. I straight legged 45 seconds wish I beat it with straight legs!

Edit: Just realized I also had up another video with that handstand record already...oh well...

  • i´´ve been on handstands for ~3 moths too, and i can hold between 5 and 20 seconds :D :D

    but only with walking...

  • Handstand take a while but you will get it...at first its good to just do that and do holds to get your body used to it muscle wise, and once you have that you can focus on tipping off and the balance part...its like riding a bike tho once you learn it you got it

  • @hotspot2104 Yeah and i did it like that? Not very imaginative are you lol. Well ive been practicing with it at a friends house and so far my hollow back is improving, but not my handstand. It all takes time though =/

  • when I say face the wall I mean that you should be facing it while standing, not while in the handstand...

    and you should place your hands maybe 6 inches off the wall

  • @hotspot2104 nononononono when i faced the wall to do it i thought i was too far away so tucked my feet in to land, and sure enuf my knees were the perfect distance away to slam into the wall :/

  • nooo!!! not like that yo lolz...you face the wall not away from it...so when u do it your heels touch the wall...try it that way no way u will fall or get hurt lol

  • @hotspot2104 Thanks bro... i can start that when i have a wall to lean on lmao. Live in a trailer so no room to do it. Did it at the park last week during a bboy session, but I ended up at the wrong distance and my knees went straight into the wall. Hurt like a bitch! Anyways i guess i do need something to stabilize myself to work the target muscles so thanks.

  • I just used to go to a wall and hold it as long as possible with my feet on wall...it trains all ur muscles...then slowly tip your feet off the wall, and push down with your fingers to hold it...after a while you will get it...also, try to kick up into a handstand and hold it but in front of wall, w/o using it, if you have a fear of falling forward...one last tip is that if you are scared to kick too far, just try to kick forward and fall on your back, or spin out of it...get rid of fear

  • I've been on handstands for 3 months now and i can only get a good 5 seconds. I'm not weak or anything but just can't find my balance so u got any tips?
