  • I am not a huge fan of Obama. At all.

Don't give me grief for saying that either people. please.

freedom of speech. ANYWAYS. I wish I could have been alive when Reagan was the President. He seemed to make a lot of things better, & the world seem like a better place to live in. ♥

  • @xemibear I was in high school during his second term and all I can say was how proud we all were to be American. People were working and proud of our country. It was a great time for most.

  • @xemibear Wish we could have him back now more than ever.

  • Winning the Cold War, all the credit goes to Ron and the GOP -- none to Gorby, the Poles, the Pope, or the hopeless nature of Communism. Also, forget about all non-Republican GIs who died in Korea and Vietnam. The Republicans with their brilliant diplomacy get all the credit. Well, the conservatives did say Reagan was an idiot for negotiating with Gorby, but we'll forget about that.

  • @xemibear I was in my twenties then. He brought us back from the brink of despair as a FREE NATION, he gave us hope and I admit I didn't vote for him the first time.Thank God he was our President. The only President we have had since FDR that REALLY made a difference. Why else would they try to assassinate him? When that damn Wall came down I could have cried with relief for my children that they wouldn"t have to live with that threat Little didI know how terribly wrong it would all go

  • Such an amazing man. A great book is the New Regan Revolution by Michael Reagan and Newt Gingrich. Michael tells many great stories about his dad, some of which I had never heard. My favorite Reagan story is how the air traffic controllers union supported him in election, then went on strike thinking he would back them. He gave them 48hrs to return on be fire. They did not return so he fired them all.

  • I don't think I'll ever see another leader who actually believes in people as Reagan clearly did. It must be a difficult thing to trust in people to take advantage of thier own welfare and build posterity, knowing that you can never take credit for thier achievements but only in uniting them to do so.

  • Reagan was a leader.

  • murrica strong!
