The exhibition is significant because it includes a number of historical moments within this time period. We go from the start of the Renaissance to the start of the Baroque, through the counter-renaissance, which changed the way religion was viewed and above all how it was expressed.

An exhibition that shows the evolution of the artistic movements: for example, how little by little the human body becomes more and more complex, making it what it is today.

One clearly sees the shift from a naïve and primitive painting, as seen in Machiavellis work to Botticellis painting which is harmonious and full of details typical of the Renaissance, and ending with the expressive power of Rubens works.
