@Jeenyus1983 I would also recommend to you buy a barrel in 308 " not in 311".
The 308" barrels will shoot all 311 bullet just fine and by using 308" barrels you have a wider range of bullets for reloading the 7.62x39 with greater accuracy than what is available in 311 bullets .
I use Pac-Nor barrels in 308" for all my AR custom rifles I build for client orders .
The accuracy is amazing to say the least with at least clover leaf groups out to 300 yards with a good scope.
I hope this is helpful.

@Jeenyus1983 Look be realistic, the 7.62x39 is not a 500 Yard long range cartridge .
7.62x39 and a 30-30 with same bullets fired over my chronograph shows the 7.62x39 is 200fps slower than the 30-30 win.
So would you use a 30-30Winchester for 500 yard shots I don't think so, then why would you want to use a 7.62x39 for 500 yards !
People who buy my custom built AR's in 7.62x39 are using them for Deer and Black bear at ranges not over 250 yards which is fine for this cartridge .

Everyone using the Yugoslavian Military brass case ammo do not let your gun sit a day or two after shooting this ammo because this ammo is so corrosive it will damage your guns barrel !
Clean your gun right away !
I let my 7.62x39 AR sit two day's and that was all it took to damage the barrel with this Yugo ammo !
By the way reloading for 7.62x39 is dirt cheap !
Powder charge is 25 grains .
Also make your own cast bullets brings down the cost also if you melt down tire weights for bullets .

@biofenix83 I saw 1260 round of brass yougoslavian ammo for about $250. Idk about putting that kind of brass ammo in an AR but....hmmm wat do u think or will ANY brass ammo work?

So the Olympic bolts are better? How about Bushmasters? don't know what to buy

@choipecu The olympic bolt seemed to work pretty well. When it all came down to it, if you intend to shoot hard primered ammo (Wolf, Brown bear, Golden Tiger, etc), make sure you are not using a 2-stage trigger (like the Rock River Arms Match trigger). The lighter hammer prevents the gun from shooting the ammo reliably. Just stick to the plain jane trigger.

@biofenix83 10 rounds mags are another story. What do u think of using brass ammo in an AR?

@maximus451
Brass is the only way to go imo. Steel is a bit more unreliable.
