I've watched this a lot of times now and I think it's wonderful! I know people don't normally ship it, and I don't anymore either, bu that episode was so slashy, it surpassed most of the Merlin/Arthur chemistry so far. I mean, the puppy eyes Arthur made when Lancelot had to leave? Sadder than Gwens. And I think they are and should be really close. That's what makes the classic love/loyalty triangle of Arthurian legend so tragic.
