Since the crackdown on obstruction started after the NHL lockout it's been hot out there for defencemen. Many realized that they could no longer keep up without clutching and grabbing and were forced to retire. Some however, learned how to survive. And now with a new crop of defencemen entering into the wilderness, who better than that learned group to show them the ropes?
For the record the answer is probably anyone would be better...
