Dead Head Grandma - My Mom at her first Dead show April 21 2009 Buffalo NY

As soon as we arrived and got out of the car someone tried to sell Mom magic mushrooms, lol. This is a 70 year old Grandma in a Grey sweeter that was not in any way dressed like a Hippie or Dead Head. People were trying to sell mom Mushrooms, Hash, Weed.. everywhere we went. It was absolutely Hilarious!

Mom Loved her first show and found "ShakeDown Street" in the parking lot fun and interesting. -Shakedown Street is the big party zone in the parking lot of Dead Shows.

Thank You to all the friendly, happy, Dead Heads for treating my mom like one of the Family!

My mom sold acid in HS back in the early 80s in NJ.She said she would sell 50 hits before homeroom..Alot of heads in hills of Jersey.Your surrounded by cows and silos.But your only 59 miles from Times Square.
