ottoman turkey was succesfull for 500 years ,because 40 percent of population is greek orthodox christians,armenian gregorian christians and jews,both these groups worked for the otooman empire as busisnespeople,jewellers,artis­ans,navy officers,translators,etc,today turkey is 99,9 percent muslim,maybe in the future if christianisty is introduced and planted churches in turkey and 30-40 percent poulation become christians ,it will be much democratic.otherwise no light at the end of tunnel.

mustafa akyol is from turkey,turkey is the most developed country once in 60 islamic countries,but its turning to sharia law slowly everyday, 70 percent of woman in turkey wear,hicap or niqap,woman are 50 percent illiterate.
