Great video.

@ricosallas3 NOAA has an archive of every major satellite image ever taken, which comes in handy when you wanna look at pictures of lesser known storms/hurricanes or storms on unusual places like Africa, Hawaii etc...
I'll send you a message if you want a specific link.

at 4:02 what website is that?

Well I would have paid good money to see a video with information like this. There is almost no information on severe weather in Hawaii - and maybe it doesn't interest you, but it definitely interests me.

I had no idea the weather in Hawaii could be so brutal.

@lostindiancamp Yeah it can be pretty wild, but its fairly rare which makes it even more interesting.

I remember the recent rain storm we got here on Maui was like 2-4 weeks ago and it was cloudy and windy all day until 12 something pm. And around 12 it just all of a sudden started POURING.

@Toshiosaysrawr Yeah, when it rains in hawaii it really RAINS. I've lived in other tropical places and chased hurricanes, and have still never seen rainfall as intense as the downpours I've seen in Hawaii.

Hey in 3:05 when it looks like a hurricane, is that Sirens in the backgroud?
Hurricanecnote1 1 year ago
@Hurricanecnote1 It's footage of the Kona Storm back in 2007. The film was taken in Kihei on Maui, where the wind gusts were in the 40-50mph range.
It does kinda sound like a siren in the background, but none of the sirens were employed during this storm.
