Matt Dillahunty and PZ Meyers recently had a friendly bet as to who could raise the most money for the benefit of Camp Quest, a secular summer camp that teaches kids critical thinking skills. Matt pledged that if his supporters raised the most money he would do an episode of The Atheist Experience in drag! Matt's people leaped at the opportunity and sent in over $30,000! Good to his word, "Matilda" and Jeff answer caller's questions today, July 17th 2011. The nutcase homophobe guy from CA calls in AGAIN under another fake name.

@lucbauer Teaching children to think critically is the long term strategy for dealing with the world's problems. I have to wonder how many homeopaths might have become doctors instead had they learned about the importance of controled double-blind testing. How many kids never became biologists or paleontologists because they were taught that evolution was a lie? The lack of critical thinking is why frauds like Sylvia Brown and John Edward stay in business bilking the gullible for millions.

Damn, matt makes one ugly woman. Also.. I have to question why any man would willingly agree to this? There's other humiliating things someone could put on the line that doesn't involve dressing in womens clothing.. someone would have to find some kind of enjoyment out of crossdressing to volunteer to do it even as a joke, no?

@NUTCASE71733 Decision have consequences, no matter what. Deciding to lay in the middle of a highway have consequences totally unrelated to the constitution. It will always be wrong to torture an innocent child even if the existence of the whole planet it at stake, it will always be wrong to harm someone else and it will always be wrong to act selfishly without considering to whom that selfish behavior affect. There are no shades of gray in God's commandments...

You have just exposed your hypocrisy with that statement. Denying science when it doesn't confirm to your belief but cling to it when the the most vague and infinitly small hint seems to support it. Why don't you beleive that deseise is caused by demons? Care to tell us that?

Decisions only have consequences if the consequences have been rationally discussed, like the US constitution. There's no absolutes in determining right and wrong, there will be shades of gray in between.
