Are we heading into a China-centric world? Will it threaten or benefit the West? Will China bail out the eurozone, and how will Europe repay? Can China offer the world a new political and economic model?

@cr4yv3n I'm not saying that enough, I'm just saying is more free than outsiders think. If u speak Chinese , u will see how Chinese literature benefited from government restriction as Chinese have to find more creative and fun ways to offend the government indirectly, that's why Chinese political blogs are more fun to read despite restrictions

@CEObonuses But here's the thing. The CCP's legitimacy SHOULD be questioned.
And this is the problem.
"You're allowed to say anything, as long as it doesn't offend us" - that's not "FREE speech". Just go and do a google search for youtube in China and see how "free" their internet is.
And if the web is not free, how would you call everything else free?
China is rated "worst possible countries" in terms of freedom by the UN. Fact.

@cr4yv3n Chinese has more freedom than you think. In China people critisize government everyday, even state owned media does it heavily. Even state TV talks about how the government should open the internet and lift censorship. In China you can say whatever you want against the government policy as long as the CCP's legitimacy is not questioned.
Pretty much you can say "the government make horrible policies we need new policies" but chinese cannot say "The CCP is horrible and we need new govt

Korea, Taiwan, Japan, singapore only gained democracy after a fundamental economic foundation was established after the asian economic boom after 1980s. Korea and Taiwan were both US backed dictatorship worse than CCP today until 1980s for Korea and 1990s for Taiwan, Only after a solid economic foundation was laid out did these become a democracy and China still has a long way to go before a foundation will be made. Look at India and so many african country where democracy came before economy.
