I'm surprised at all this talk of Norah covering Patsy Cline's song.. This is one of the most widely sung love songs in history. You get to a point where yet another person does a rendition of a song.. they add their version to the large body of people showing respect for the music. It's a bit like saying a particular orchestra has done a cover of Beethoven. Norah Jones, of course, does it well. She is a consummate musician and does everything well. How could you not love her work?

Norah Jones, a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. As good as this araingment is it falls short of PC's version. However there is a Grammy award winning singer who inspires memories of Patsy's voice and style without singing one of Patsy's songs. And it's not Norah or Kelly Clarkson. Keep looking.

She grew up in Dallas. Raised by her mother.
Ravi Shankar, the sitarist from India, is her father.
Look her up in nndb.
She is lovely, isn't she? And when she delivers a song, it makes your gut ache.
Julie London was the same way.
