Video showing the DNS Changer Trojan. This is a piece of malware that uses rootkit technology and changes your Windows DNS settings. Its purpose is to redirect your search results in popular search engines.

i got have the problem in firefox and i copy and paste the url i ran tons of scans and I am getting nothing in the address bar and that does not redirt me

It changes the TCP/IP settings of your connections to its own DNS server. It's not the HOSTS file.

I've just got this problem using Firefox, so in this case it's not IE's fault.
Still, I'm very much a firefox man.
