@TLJAWSIMIB Do you have a problem? I cannot for the life of me understand why you seem to take offense at my comment. It has to do with living on Park Ave. because, well, that's where they live. The predominant accent heard amongst the wealthy people of Manhattan is very different from the one commonly heard in Flushing, where Fran is from. Gracie has grown up on Park Ave., so it is interesting that sometimes she speaks like Fran, a mother figure to her, who grew up in Flushing.
