  • Thumbs up to leave this message on the top to help answer always the same following stupid question!

But electricity comes from coal no?

    Answer :

The power source may be coming from coal powered plants but it uses the power far more efficently than a combustible engine and therefore pollutes FAR less than ICE motors.

Secondly, it has the ability to be powered from renewable non polluting energy sources like wind,solar.hydro,ect..

Electric cars are the future and nothing will stop it.

  • Quiet - Fast - Efficient - Relaxing - Roomy - Easy

Stylish - Futuristic - Quick Charge at dealers?

    Bought it !

    Love it !

  • I love the body style and if I get an electric car I want it to be total electric.

  • @moneshmahtani The people who would buy this would view that as a good thing.

  • This is the ugliest car I've ever seen !!!

  • Never buy this i hear the seats are made out of plastic botles

  • I went to the alt car expo this past weekend and shot a few videos of this car as well as took the Guided tour from the caffeinated super charged guide. One of my favorite weird things about this car is the Audio of an engine below 18 mph.

  • too bad they decided not to lose the gas pump symbol for the power consumption. i guess they dont want to freak people out too early! trees to chill out on the pedal? come on. nice car but some funny ideas

  • @gisellemartins20 You forgot the part where the trucks have to travel hundreds of miles to take the fuel to a station.

  • Who has money to buy a Leaf, also has to solar panel.

Leaf is 99% recyclable, Batteries will be bought by Nissan after 10 years.

Next year will have autonomy of 300 km.

  • @gisellemartins20 Your answer to the problem of having to travel 100+ miles is get a bike? So next time I go on vacation I can't take any luggage or passengers. Sounds fun. Actually a motorbike is a great use for daily commuting, thereby replacing your precious electric cars.

For the record, I'm not against "green" cars at all. Just saying the current iteration of the electrics aren't the solution.

    Hydrogen looks promising to me.

  • Yeah, can't wait to get one when I get back to the states. Hopefully they will have on over 200mpc, but I doubt it. I'll be happy with a easy to find charge station.
