The Airbus was the first fully electronic automated plane, with no eletromechanic controls or cables.
During their first commercial record of a landing, they lost an aircraft and a team of pilots and technicians due computer problems on board - by Captain Bill

  • @StPetesYTSMemptyA320 funny how on morfo ataris page you were saying this was a manned flight for over a year. People just need to go back through the history on this page & there they can find the info which is on my profile picture - a you clearly stating it was a manned flight

  • @bmwnasher MANNED, MANNED,MANNED,MANNED,MANNED!!! huh, thats weird. for some reason your ban hasnt taken effect

  • aye captain i cannot give you anymore power or she blow up.

  • This was a flyby with small crew and observes aboard. Pilot commanded power and didn't get any. Computer said, Cap, can't give you any power...sorry!

  • @YTSMalumni2010 Indeed even if you had a backup pilot on board sitting reading UAVS weekly and the DAILY UNMANNED he`s on the job, ready for lifes little emergencies.

  • This was air france 296. 2 pilots 4 other crew 130 passengers on board. 3 died

    June 26 1988 habsheim france

sources confirming this include the official accident report, pilot testimony & testimony of survivors such as jean claude boetsch, flight international magazine, time magazine, air crash investigations documentary - sources which confirm what I say is true.

This clip contains an interview with the pilot:

NO evidence exists to the contrary

  • @bmwnasher for quite a few years now a mammoth battle has continued as to why a pilot was not on board this plane? .from my understanding you should always have a pilot in the cockpit

  • @StPetesYTSMemptyA320 As YTSM on shift i would like to point out that the word manned is banned.

  • @939alexz . You tell us the in-flight meal then we can call it a day. That would be an easy answer for a plane with people on board .
