This song is great and I especially like it because it seems like a good candidate to be the first JT song I try to learn...anyone know any good easy songs by him that a beginner might try to play?
@ frankenshank, Right. James is a genius at lyrics, but remember that the wonderful novelist Reynolds Price was listed as a co-writer of this song, and I doubt if he contributed anything musical.
Funny how memory works... remembering only from the last time you saw someone...their youthful appearance...To see them now... A lot of my friends from the 70s(when we were kids) resurfaced on myspace and only holding the memory of "then" made me stare in awe at how we all have changed. Old pictures of our sun burned cheeks and cheesy smiles. All huddled together in front of a Kodak Instamatic. Makes one rather melancholy......
