The criticisms of my earlier video fall into three catagories;

firstly, the personal attacks;

secondly, that I have taken the bible too literally;

thirdly, I have failed to take into account the concept of freewill.

I consider all of the arguments that have been advanced to be without merit.

If someone wants to make a cogent argument against what I have said in the previous video and what I have said in this video then I will respond to them.

  • No, it is illogical to believe that a god created everything and yet believe that nothing created this god

    It is illogical to believe an all powerful omnipotent being created everything, but then refuse to provide ANY evidence what so of it's existence, relying on faith

    You are the victim of a con job. Con artists rely on 'faith and fear' to try to convince you to buy their snake oil as a miracle healing potion, because the healing potion is in fact non existent

    Atheist's feel sorry for you

  • it takes time to realize the truth.

    first, you was brainwashed with santa claus being real and didn't want to accept the harsh fact that your parents lied to you.

    but you came around eventually.

    it's the same with gods and goddesses of the past.

  • There are many brilliant points, I love the observation, I also have made such points but I just have one negative observation to make. It never really explains why prayer is dangerous. The churches did not collapse because people were praying, they collapsed because their buildings are no different than any other and there is no almighty power that keeps the buildings standing.

  • Another thought, remove my concept of hallucinogens and let's litteralize this story.We all know that snakes don't talk, or at least I've never seen one, but imagine this being a reptilian. Now Adam & Eve are pre-cave man so how would they describe a talking reptilian? I think they would call him a serpent and of course the reptilian might talk... although I haven't seen a reptilian either, those are 2 things I haven't seen so the only logical explanation are hallucinogens.

  • Oh I just saw the photo of the serpent, now that is the freakiest serpent I ever did see. I think the reason that tree is forbidden is because it provides an hallucinogenic substance and that is why a snake is talking to them & I think God got pissed off when they ate from it because they were eating his favorite fruit because it's not easy being God & he needs his down time and to get a buzz every now and then.

  • LOL, the 236 dislikes are cherry pickers, they have created how they prefer to serve God, they got a good thing going and they don't want you mess'in it up. LOL

  • Tom, at montalk.net calls the influence known as "god" as "The Corrupted Demiurge Yahweh".It has been responsible for the dark ages we have seen, and will see again if groups like the National Apostolic Reformation conquer their "7 mountains" in prep for the arrival of "Jesus". Thing is, they believe they must control the entire world before Jesus will return.They do this thru spiritual warfare - prayer of a sort.

  • @coreygames ...life is just stupid, thinking your invinsable because you payde last night.

  • @coreygames yeah i get your point, i havent prayed since around the age of 7, this was because my local school was a church of england one. i was only saying that it helped me once and alot of other people, the majourity of people dont think that god will actually come down and help them, just that maybe he will guide them. before my grandad died he told me this " life IS like a box of chocolates, just some of them have a faeces filling" prayer isnt dangerous like a gun, but going blase though

  • @novaplayer14

    Guns have protected the lives of many people, does that make them not dangerous?

    Just because something can be applied in a positive manner, like using prayer to remain calm instead of panicking, does not alter the fundamental danger that thing poses, like deceiving people into believing that some invisible force will take care of them if they just ask for it.

  • @novaplayer14 this leads me to the conclusion that god is good in the way that it can make peoples lives very happy and bring them comfort to think someone is watching over them
