The compelling half-hour documentary film, AMERICAN COYOTE—STILL WILD AT HEART, pursues the coyote story into America's ranchlands and most urbanized terrains. Scientists help us understand this fascinating creature—how it survives so well in so many habitats, the role it plays in our ecosystems, and how we can safely coexist with it.
Through beautiful, original footage, AMERICAN COYOTE is a tribute to this magnificent animal, and an unabashed celebration of its unique value and importance to our ecosystems and our human communities.
they don't do anything.... i was on a bike trail once and then i saw one... i thought they were dangerous got scared but kept my cool i slowed down and waited for it to move... it looked at me and went to the left like giving me a sign that it was ok to keep on going... i did and it just minded its own business it made me realize that they were good animals and by this point a lot of the urban cayotes are used to people and should just be left alone

Someone needs desperately to EDUCATE Greenwood Village, a wealthy suburb of Denver, on coyotes. They shoot them because the coyotes naturally go after their pampered Chihuahas that are also off leash. The residents actually think that coyotes will eat children. They are very wealthy and VERY ignorant. The city has SHOT and killed 14 coyotes this winter already despite protest. It's ridiculous and SO unnecessary. Proves that money can't buy intelligence.

Nice to know that you promote the coyote. After all, it is such a misunderstood animal. Because carnivores will never go after your house pet, child, livestock, and can easily be treated with non lethal measures. And making them comfortable around humans, another bonus, because a crying child does not sound like a meal.
Like it or not, coyotes must be controlled just like any other animal, they cannot be trained, cannot be moved, and WILL kill anything it can eat.
Use some logic.

Fantastic, PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Keep people informed rather than just killing them for no reason. Take care. Just Great
