Rufus Wainwright at New York Public Library, singing acapella from his opera, at a discussion/tribute/b-day celebration for theater legend Robert Wilson (who just turned 70). Lou Reed and Lucinda Childs (to Rufus' left) were also there for the discussion.
Thank You! NYPL and Rufus. Two of my favorites!

This is not from his opera, but Sonnet No. 20, one of the Shakespeare sonnets he put to music for Robert Wilson's play.
