Cathie Travers jammin' Mack the Knife on FR3 & micro X

a new synth this weekend...to hook up to my Roland FR3: the Korg micro X. Using a slightly edited version of a preset Combi, triggered by the treble keyboard and bass-note buttons; chord buttons are triggering only the on-board orchestral string sample. The Combi has 2 preset arpeggiator patterns, which are applied to the percussion sets and kalimba timbres. I'm also using a damper pedal, to enable hands-free at various points, to manually change settings on the FR3 and/or Korg. Sax & bass are on-board Roland samples. I need to add a volume pedal into the line...to track the percussion levels against the FR3.

That's a pretty amazing box.

When I had to give up, expanders were only really getting used by accordionists. I was one of the first to buy one, and what fabulous piano sound I had on my left hand. Not much else, but a good piano. LOL

Thanks for y'r comment...cheered me up no end...I just installed a software update on an audio+midi program and am suffering the inevitable teething problems...grr...it's probably time to go to bed anyway, I guess...and dream surreal images of grand pianos atop a stack of accordions
