Boot into the CD/DVD of Windows 7, and follow onscreen instructions. FORMAT the drive. It will say custom or clean, do clean. Under drive options, select format, click yes, ok, and then install. Easy process, follow instructions on screen!

good video, as usual, but When I see you recommending 30-60GB i cringe lol. I realize that for a few(very few) people, that would be enough, but a lot of people think they are a basic user, but when you start piling up all your data, you realize you may be getting in some trouble, I would say go for at least 320 even just for a basic user, hard-drives are dirt cheap, my Samsung 640GB cost about 79 dollars, and its a 10000 RPM drive

I see that, but, when I mean basic, I mean very basic. Like, just enough for web browsing, word processing and chat. A user like that may have a older machine. I have 320GB and have 201GB free now. I also have a 1TB drive for backup, and I have 800GB free there so far, but not everything is backed up.
